In recent years, my urban environment has inspired my work, with the city’s heartbeat and physicality at the center of my subject matter. I connect with the vibrations and movement as a response to the overwhelming nature of my surroundings. By creating, I allow myself to process an environment which is filled with energy and a constant state of motion. My intention is to make energy visible. My arrangements appear linear and geometrical, inviting the viewer to walk among my worlds.

A recent series, Never, Yet Always Singular, attempts to isolate the individual against a greater body of unknown people and places. These multi-panel paintings create a space in which the viewer can experience deliberate yet graceful mobility. While exploring slow and steady movements, this series aims to drive your mind to silence in the age of distraction. The careful craft of these arrangements is a minimalist approach to evoke a meditative state to both artist and viewer.
